Second day of year 12. :L at 2:45 PM

I just decided to blog about something i was reminded of today.

Talking to people outside your usual social circle is actually really interesting

like, i know it seems obvious and stuff, but sometimes we are so caught up in our own "set" social group that we forget that there are other people out there to converse with. I mean, im not saying that everyone is like this, some people are just naturally outgoing and open to new friends that they would have no problem with breaking out of their "group". I actually really admire these people. For some , it may not be easy to strike up a convo (that lasts) with somone they dont usually talk to- however nice that person may be.

It may seem like a random blog, but i was reminded of it today when i decided to catch up with some people i havent talked to in years, or the people i just normally say "hey" to whenever we pass each other but never actually had a full conversation with them. I came to realise that these people outside the usual group of people i usually talk to are actually really intersting to talk or hang out with and all have their own unique opinions and personalites. Dont get me wrong, im not saying that i thought they were 'boring' before this or whatever- i just never really ..thought about it o.o. I used to believe that i wouldnt be able to keep conversations alive with the people im not used to takling to, but after today , that idea has been somwhat shoved aside thanks to a few certain individuals. I mean, its nice to hear differnt perspectives on things.=]

Oh and im not saying i dont think my usual social circle is not intersting, i love everyone in it. Thats why i still talk to those freakks. Im just saying that sometimes its better to keep an open mind to lifee , or at least, i THINK thats what im saying o.o :)
So yeah, thank you cvhs, for letting us out early on tuesdays. LOL

Oh yeah and one more thing. Whilst i was catching up with a certain person that i havent talked to in like, yeaaaaars.. i came to realise how easy it is for someone to change and adapt new attitudes over time. I was never CLOSE to this person, but we used to talk and stuff quite a bit and what not. I dont know exactly what happend, but after talking to them today i found out that their personality and attitude towards life has completely changed. They used to be a pretty good person, doing work (even though they complain about it) and was respectful to their peers and elders. Now, however, they seem to not care about their past-self anymore and has even taken up smoking and gets into fights occasionally.

Im not trying to bag them out, this person is still quite a nicce person (yes, im going to ignore how this person tried to get me to take a puff of smoke LOL) but yeah, it got me thinking as to how peer pressure or whatever can greatly shape/change who we are. I told them to quit, and to stop getting into trouble and such, but it seems as if they dont want to.
This also got me questioning (yes it was a day of many thoughts for me XD), as to if it was really any of my business about what this person does in their spare time-- i mean, do i really have a right to tell them what to do with their life? O.O

i dont know, im confusing myself heree LOOL
so yeah, im going to end it noww

it has been a pretty good two days for me my lovelys! :)
saturdayyy was Quang's 19th birthday party at my hosueee. hes my cousin btw. i was my parents free waitress for the important guests woot woot
woke up later than everyone else , had to clean and pick vegetables as soon as mother screamed me awake.. it was ONLY 11am ._.
had spit roast yummm but i didnt eat much, i was too busy asking other ppl if they wanted food and drinks and whatever those ppl came up with LOOL
christina's at nightt woooo! rocked up kinda late with darttee, from the outside it was all dark and dart and i were like "whats going on here?o.0" ..wasnt until we got inside that we realised alot of ppl were already hammered but we love a good hang outt :) a certain somebody made my party buddy's bloood boil. love her! XD that random that i had to "pretend" i knew and she made me hugg him and shat. he was honestly confused LOL

after foodd we decided to go park down the road

OMGG that was so awesomee! scary but cool. walking in pitch black, surrounded by trees. it was honestly the setting of a perfect horror movie where a bunch of friends gets attacked by derranged murderers hiding in the treees.
hung out at the park for a bittt. (which had no lights too, so swinging and monkey-barings in the dark :O )
the way home was awesomee. wound down windows, dancing and singing along to Good girls gone bad pumped on the radiooo ! we didnt know the lyrics but mehh just sung whatevs!
and yeahh, here iam now!
planning to sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep tomorrow, im so sleepy for some odd reason!
but then again, im always sleepy T_T

HAPPY 11TH MONTH TO ELVIS AND LINH!

i was supposed to blog yesterday night, but i was too busy cutting myself cos my capped net wouldnt load facebook. T_T it still wont load now, but im learning to do without facebook. At least, just for the couple of days that my net is mean to me.

OMG IM SO HYPEDDD! party party party with gorgeous christina tmr! ;) miss partying with that girl heapps! dartee will be studying all day, but shes coming too- my fellow party buddy! LOL =D i should really stop calling her out. if she doesnt get the result she wants for HSC, i dont want her ramming her AWESOME NEW CAR THAT HER SISTER FIXED UP FOR HER into me. =s

OH AND YESTERDAY paul came over, and my mother decided to USE him around the house for some handywork! LOL
he helped put up some .. uhh .. i forgot what theyre called .. tarp-something. but yeah, he looked suicidal, climbing all over my fence like mad (its like he doesnt know what a ladder is. OLOL JOKES)
BUT OMG HE cut himself with the broken glass in the drivewayy (stupid tornado the other week knocked the glass over and like, yeah.) omgg it was bleeding soo bad :O and he refused my banaid's ! ==
my mother made us children pho and he was going to drip his blood into it for more flavour. edward cullen wannabe i swearrrr.
but yeah, thanks to paul for that! mother says thanks too. LOL

went to family thanh's house at night cos linh and i are bored childreen. talked about random things .. ha showed us her awesome new camera (that costed more than my life.........'s savings) ..dry my linh. ROFL but yeahhh it was funny cos linh and i went livoo, then went to thanhs. someone knocked on the door, opened it and father was standing theree. it was funy cos we were both not expecting it. LOL

went to sleep pretty early last nightt, soo tired for some odd reason and wanted to get up relatively early for workk. quoc's call at 12:30 something woke me upp. "look out your window"
"omggg what are you doing here!? T_T" i was sleepingggg == LOL
10-6, never want to do that shift again. i honestly prefer 7-3 or 8-4. those seem shorter for some reason, even if its all the same hours . work draggggggedd like crazy and i was thinking about jumping out the drive thru window. :O

and yeahh, here iam now! :) just came back from officeworks and buying dinner at pizza hut for the family. LOL omg robert tram saw me and said "hey melinda!"
i was like

"OH WAIT, NO not melinda!"
he made his sister call me melinda just to be funnny. tuuuh !

It raining ice :) at 1:47 PM

haaaaai :)
before i say anything more, IT HAILED YESTERDAY EVENING! like, it wasnt just the usual 2 second-4-ice-cubes from the sky hail, it was literally RAINING ICE. my whole lawn was covered in ice!
like, it started when my mother ran into my room, panicking cos there was still clothes out on the line . we both ran out and it started sprinkling, so we both grabbed all the clothes we could and ran for shelter. it was epic. :)
and yeah, after i went back into my room, i was just on msn when i started hearing the metal bit outside my house rattling really loudly. i considered hail, but in the past, whenever i even THOUGHT it was hailing, it wasnt. so i was like "meh"
then outta nowhere mother ran around going "ITS RAINING ICEEEEEE"
LOOL i got sooo excited! i ran out with my camera and was recording it :) all my neighours were also outside and Adam next to my house was dancing in the ice-rain with a bucket on his head. shortly after he got hit and ran for shelter. LOOOOL

and yeah, during the hail i was wondering how i was gong to get to work, it looked too dangerous to go out in that hail. but mother said it would die out soon . so yeah.
THEN FAMILY CAME OVERR! ^^ i gotta say, i think Ha and Nam were seriously concerned when i said i was going to record myself eat the hail. BLAME SANDRA, SHE TOLD ME IT TASTES NICE! tuh !sooo yeahhh. this morning i woke up and decided to change my quilt covers cos i was getting bored of the one i was using. i wanted to use my purple one, cos i feel like purple for the next few weeks. but like, i dont know where i left it! i couldnt find it at all!! :( so i ended up using my winnie the pooh one . still good! :)
and yes ppl, i sleep with all those soft toys on my bed. it looks a little more ordered cos i arranged them like that.. but from tonight onwards, they go EVERYWHERE. like before, when i was taking my blanket out of my old quit cover, a toy fell OUT of the quilt cover. i was like "how the hell did that get there?!" XD
thats all for now, soo bored at home. im not even sure if i have tutor later or not =\

GOOD EVENING PEOPLE! =D
and yes,it is true. today, after like, only 1 hour at westfields.. i asked linh if she wanted to go home.
usually, i would just be getting started 1 hour into it, but since i have been shopping with no cash soo much these days, i didnt feel like window shopping AGAIN today. LOOL but yeh, i DID get the dress that im going to wear to Hong's wedding this sat! im so excited!

OH and i was soo high today, cos today .. I GOT MY CONTACTS ! WOOOO i was soo happy after i bought them, i was wingeing about ggettting 'em for like, weeks!
my optometrist said that she likes gray cos it makes dark brown eyes look a slivery-purple, and that she also likes green cos in asian's eyes they look like a deep sea green.
so i got 5 pairs gray and 5 pairs green. =)

oh yeah, camp was alright ! i learnt to appreciate the things i take for granted, liKE CLEAN water, HOT water and a nice warm bed! OH AND MY MOTHER! LOL :) but yeah, overall it was ppretttyy fun, tiring, but an experience to be remmebred. =]

AND OMFG, I GOT MY PHONE BILL TODAY. im soo proud of myself! :) i changed my plan last month yeah, and omg this month.. I DIDNT GO OVER THE CAP!
YAY ME
my phone bill has NOT been 2 digits for like, 8 months! so, SCOREEEE ! WOO :) :)

and yeah, that was a quick update. last day of school tmr, dont know if im going to go but.
like i said in my last update..
Life is freaking good.
